Well known for her blonde hair, long legs, blue eyes and strikingly sexy physique, Cameron Diaz made it into the limelight big time when she made her debut in The Mask in 1994 alongside comedienne Jim Carrey.

The model-turned actress was born on August 30, 1972 in San Diego, California. She describes herself as independent and adventurous which she proved when she moved out of her hometown to work as a model at the age of 16. At a very young age, she had already travelled the world doing modelling work for the prestigious Elite Agency. She did TV commercials for Coca Cola, Nivea etc.

Diaz went back home after 5 years and was immediately casted as The Mask’s love interest despite her lack of experience in acting. After much criticism about her performance on her first movie, she decided to take acting lessons to improve herself. Her good looks and an even more improved acting skills catapulted her to become one of the A-Listers in Hollywood winning leading roles in hit films such as There’s Something About Mary, Charlie’s Angels and the voice of Princess Fiona in the animated movie, Shrek.

Diaz is a certified germophobic. She admits of washing her hands numerous of times in a day and using her elbows when opening doors.

Diaz is 5’9” tall and weighs about 120 lbs. Quite ironically, she finds rare steak and French fries the most irresistible food. She revealed she has never been conscious of what she eats until recently.

Her famous trademark in her films? Dancing. She was a cheerleader and a member of her high school’s dance drill team.

She was paid $20M for her role in Charlie’s Angels Full Throttle in 2003.

She has ADD or Attention Deficit Disorder making her unable to focus on one particular task.
