Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston shot to fame in the hit US TV show Friends. She became recognised the world over for her role as Rachel Green , the girl “with that hair cut” who worked as a waitress in the coffee shop better known as Central Perks. The on off relationship between Rachel and Ross (played by David Schwimmer) kept viewers on the edge of their seats throughout the life of the series which spanned a decade. Tears were shed all over the world when the show came to an end in 2004 and Rachel and Ross finally became a couple confessing their love for each. Jennifer won many prestigious awards for her role in Friends including a Golden Globe.

Jennifer Aniston was born in February 1969, in Sherman Oaks California. Her father is Greek and her mother a native American.

After graduating from performing arts school whilst living in New York Jennifer found work in various Broadway productions whilst earning money working as a waitress putting her in good stead for her role as Rachel!

In 1989 she moved to California and began her TV career in the show Molloy and other TV movies and miniseries. It has been said that after her role in the horror movie Leprechaun she actually thought about giving up acting. In 1994 she got her big break being cast as Rachel Green making her one of the highest paid actress on US TV.

Jennifer has since starred in a number of major movies. Her role alongside Jim Carey in Bruce Almighty earned her success at the box office as did her role in Marley & me in 2008 with Owen Wilson. Aniston’s most recent success has been in Horrible Bosses.

Aniston has suffered many ups and downs in her personal life. She was married to heartthrob Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 before he left her for Angela Jolie. Since then she has been linked to several other hearthrobs including Vince Vaughan, and John Mayer. She is currently dating Justin Theroux.

Jennifer Aniston remains the subject of media speculation for all sorts of reasons. The most recent is her apparent weight gain and pregnancy rumours. She claims this is just down to her gaining a couple of pounds as she has managed to quit her long time smoking habit.
